What does the direct comparison research show?
One randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled crossover study compared a single 1.5-gram serving of Nitrosigine with 8 grams of citrulline malate in 16 healthy, recreationally active young adults. The researchers measured flow-mediated dilation, a blood-vessel function outcome, over three hours. - It involved a small, specific population.
- It measured an acute vascular outcome, not long-term muscle growth or universal workout performance.
- It compared Nitrosigine with citrulline malate, not pure L-citrulline.
- It used specific doses and a specific protocol.
