The Stimulant Reset: A 7-Day Protocol to Reclaim Your Energy and Focus

The Stimulant Reset: A 7-Day Protocol to Reclaim Your Energy and Focus

The Law of Diminishing Returns

Caffeine is one of the most effective ergogenic aids in existence, but the human body is a master of adaptation. When you flood your system with high-dose stimulants daily, your brain creates more adenosine receptors to compensate.

The result? You don't get "high" from the caffeine anymore; you just take it to avoid feeling "low." This is a state of "Stimulant Debt." If you want to experience the power of Shock Collar like it’s the first time, you have to pay the debt.

The 7-Day "Hard Reset" Protocol

Don't go cold turkey. That leads to "caffeine flu" and missed workouts. Follow this tapering method:

  • Days 1-2 (The Half-Life): Cut your stimulant dose by 50%. If you usually take a full scoop of pre-workout, take half. Supplement with 5g of Buffdawg Creatine to keep muscle cell energy (ATP) high.

  • Days 3-5 (The Zero Phase): Switch to non-stimulant options. Focus on "Blood Flow" training—higher reps, shorter rest periods. Use this time to focus on the "Mind-Muscle Connection" we discussed in our High-Stim Guide.

  • Days 6-7 (The Flush): Increase water and salt intake. Prioritize 9 hours of sleep using RUFF NIGHT.

Why Creatine is Your Best Friend During a Reset

While your central nervous system is "re-adjusting," your muscles can still perform. Buffdawg Creatine Daily Blend works on a different pathway than caffeine. It provides raw phosphate groups for ATP production, meaning you can still hit your numbers even without the "buzz."
