The Anatomy of a God-Tier High-Stim Pre-Workout

The Anatomy of a God-Tier High-Stim Pre-Workout

Introduction: Beyond the Buzz

The "High-Stim" category is often misunderstood as a race to see who can put the most caffeine in a plastic tub. But as experienced lifters know, high energy without blood flow and cognitive clarity is just "jittery cardio."

At SuppDawg, our formulation philosophy for Shock Collar Pre-Workout was built on the E-E-A-T principle. We leveraged the expertise of high-performance athletes and the clinical data of sports nutrition to create a product that doesn't just "wake you up"—it reloads your entire physiological system for battle.

The Pump Matrix: 6g L-Citrulline & 1.5g Nitrosigine

In a high-stimulant environment, vasoconstriction (the narrowing of blood vessels) can sometimes be a side effect of high caffeine intake. To counteract this and ensure "skin-splitting" pumps, Shock Collar utilizes a dual-pathway approach to Nitric Oxide (NO) production.

  • L-Citrulline (6,000mg): We didn't settle for "Citrulline Malate" which is often 50% filler. We used 6g of pure L-Citrulline. This amino acid is a precursor to Arginine, which effectively raises NO levels in the blood, leading to improved vasodilation and nutrient delivery to the working muscle.

  • Nitrosigine (1.5g): This is the "secret sauce" of modern pump products. Nitrosigine is an inositol-stabilized arginine silicate. Clinical studies show it can increase blood flow for up to six hours, significantly outlasting standard Arginine or Citrulline alone.

Hydration & Hyper-Hydration: Glycerol and Taurine

A "dry" muscle is a weak muscle. To ensure your cells are volumized, we’ve included a specific hydration duo:

  1. Glycerol (1.5g): Glycerol acts as an osmotic agent, drawing water into the muscle cells. This creates a "water-based" pump that complements the "nitric-oxide" pump from the Citrulline.

  2. Taurine (1g): Taurine is essential for electrolyte balance and muscle contraction. In a high-stimulant pre-workout, it serves as a stabilizer, preventing cramping and ensuring that your muscles fire at 100% capacity.

The Energy Core: 400mg Caffeine & 100mg Theobromine

The energy in Shock Collar Pre-Workout is designed to hit hard and stay consistent.

  • Caffeine Anhydrous (400mg): This is the gold standard for high-stim enthusiasts. At 400mg, you are hitting the upper threshold of metabolic stimulation, ensuring peak power output and fat oxidation.

  • Theobromine (100mg): Found naturally in cocoa, Theobromine is a "gentle" stimulant. It acts as a vasodilator (opening blood vessels) which helps mitigate the high-blood-pressure spike sometimes associated with pure caffeine. This creates a "cleaner" energy feel without the jagged "edge."

The Focus & Neuro-Drive: Huperzine A & Yohimbine

High-intensity training requires "tunnel vision." If you’re distracted by the music in the gym or your phone, you aren't training hard enough.

  • Huperzine A: This potent nootropic inhibits the enzyme that breaks down Acetylcholine (the "learning" neurotransmitter). By keeping Acetylcholine levels high, Shock Collar ensures your mind-muscle connection is unbreakable.

  • Yohimbine (2mg): Known for its thermogenic properties, Yohimbine also acts as a powerful CNS stimulant. It helps "lock you in" and provides that aggressive drive needed for heavy triples or AMRAP sets.
